Good Friday Service

Tenebrae is a Latin word meaning “Shadow.” This special service focuses on the final hours of Jesus’ life before his Crucifixion through the reading of Scripture, special music, and the use of candlelight. With each scripture read we take another step closer to the darkness of the Cross as one by one candles are extinguished. We depart in silence and darkness awaiting the Light of the Resurrection on Easter Morning.
