Maundy Thursday Communion

April 17 6:00 - 6:30 pm

Maundy Thursday takes its name from the Latin “mandateum,” which means mandate or commandment. At the Last Supper, Christ told his disciples, “I new commandment I give to you.” This evening Communion service begins the three-day journey from the Upper Room to the Cross and Resurrection, known as the Triduum. These final three days of Lent offer us the opportunity to enter into the story with Christ.
